HOW TO SPEED UP A CLOCK PUNCH

If a clock takes too long between punches, its most likely Punch Archiving.  you can turn this off in the Clock Config file or in Sites and Clocks from TimeTrak.

You can do this one of two ways listed below. This is actually editing the clock config instead of the setup.xml.

 

Add the following to the clock’s config file after the ;ENDIT and Refresh Config at the clock.

 

                              SET;SETUP.XML;PUNCHARCHIVEDAYS;0;

In TimeTrak, this can be done through the Advanced menu option in Site Clock, or editing the .CFG file directly with notepad.

then reboot the clock.
